Dr Yanna Ko is an accredited Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. Dr Ko is a compassionate clinician who has a passion for holistically improving gut health and overall wellbeing.

She manages all aspects of gastrointestinal and liver disorders, including reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, bowel cancer surveillance and iron deficiency.

Dr Ko's goal is to ensure all of her patients feel heard and cared for. She strives to provide the best patient-centered care possible for all of her patients.

Dr Ko has been passionate about advancing the field of gastroenterology through research, and combining the latest knowledge in this area of medicine with personalised patient care for her patients. As a result of her efforts, Dr Ko has received many awards including the prestigious NHMRC research award for her ongoing research into gut disorders (irritable bowel syndrome and the microbiome). She has also published multiple peer-reviewed research articles, and presented at national and international gastroenterology conferences.

Dr Ko has been awarded accreditation for performing gastroscopies and colonoscopies by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She performs various procedures including polypectomy, bowel cancer surveillance and haemorrhoid therapy.

Dr Ko is multilingual and can consult in Mandarin and Cantonese.
