Dr Rohan Gett studied medicine at the University of New South Wales before commencing internship at Concord Hospital in Sydney. Dr Gett completed general surgical training at Concord, Nepean and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before undertaking additional training in colorectal surgery at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney and at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne. From his training, Dr Gett has developed a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery of the colon and rectum, colonoscopy and in the surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr Rohan Gett's is also appointed as a Lecturer in Surgery with the University of New South Wales. For the academic appointment, Dr Gett is based at the Clinical School at St Vincent's Hospital in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Dr Gett has admitting rights to St Vincent's Public Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital while consulting through St Vincent's Clinic.

Dr Gett completed a Masters of Surgery degree at the University of Sydney in 2009. The practice of colorectal and general surgery at St Vincent's Hospital and Clinic has remained a rewarding and satisfying vocation for Dr Gett after the years of training.
