Dr Shadi Khashaba
As a fertility specialist, Shadi is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for his patients and to help them fulfil their dream of completing their family.
Since graduating from the University of Alexandria, Shadi has gained extensive experience working in hospitals across the globe including the United States, Gulf states and Australia. Since arriving in Australia in 2013, Shadi has dedicated himself to furthering his studies and has accomplished a great deal.
He obtained a fellowship from the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2015 while furthering his Obstetrics & Gynaecological training at St George & Sutherland Hospitals.
Subspecialising in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Shadi also completed three full years of training in advanced and difficult fertility cases.
At the University of Illinois, Chicago, Shadi undertook an additional fellowship of Andrology and Infertility where he trained in advanced microscopic surgical techniques and developed a patent for a specialised device to assist in male fertility preservation.
As a conjoint lecturer at UNSW, Shadi is currently writing a Master’s program to teach specialists more about male fertility issues using the latest research and evidence in clinical practice.
Shadi maintains associations with many world-wide peak organisations including the European Society of Human Reproduction, Fertility Society of Australia and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Shadi currently consults at IVFAustralia from the Alexandria, Sydney CBD and Kogarah clinics.
