Interventional gastroenterologist and hepatologist

Dr Suhirdan graduated from University of New South Wales (2003), and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in January 2012. Dr Suhirdan completed his gastroenterology and endoscopic training (diagnostic and interventional gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP) in Sydney. He also completed an extensive interventional fellowship in EUS and ERCP.

Dr Suhirdan has performed a vast number of endoscopic procedures and has extensive experience in clinical and interventional gastroenterology. He is an associate at the Diagnostic Endoscopy Centre (DEC) in St Vincent’s clinic, has appointments at St Vincent Private Hospital (Darlinghurst), Centre for digestive diseases (CDD) and consults at the Sydney Specialist Suites (Rozelle).

Dr Suhirdan’s clinical and research interests include; interventional gastroenterology, early detection of GI malignancy, inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders. He also regularly contributes to specialist medical publications, medical education and conference presentations.
