Dr Raewyn Teirney
Dr Raewyn Tierney is a female fertility specialist who combines the highest levels of education and training with an empathetic and positive approach. She has helped Sydney couples with infertility problems for more than 14 years.
Her practice focuses on investigations and treatment for female and male infertility, including ovulation disorders, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, miscarriage and endometriosis.
As a Fertility Specialist with IVFAustralia, Dr Tierney provides many treatment options with the highest standards of fertility care and latest technology. This includes laparoscopic surgery, IUI Treatment (intra-uterine insemination treatment) and IVF.
After obtaining her medical degree from Auckland University, Dr Tierney undertook her specialty training in Sydney, Australia. Her passion for assisting women and couples with infertility problems led her to complete further subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). During this time she also worked as a clinical lecturer at Cambridge University in England, and the famous IVF fertility centre, Bourn Hall, where the world's first IVF baby was conceived.
Dr Tierney is a Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand Collage of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
