Dr Hunt qualified in Medicine and Plastic Surgery at the University of Sydney (MBBS), before spending a further year at the prestigious University of Texas. He trained under some of America’s leading plastic surgeons.

Dr Hunt is the spokesperson for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Supervisor of Plastic Surgery Training, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Consultant Surgeon, Sydney Children’s Hospital Consultant Surgeon, Prince of Wales Hospital.
